What are Fire-Rated Metal Cable Cleats?

Firefly™ Fire-rated metal cable cleats are fixings used to secure electrical cables to cable tray, channel, walls, and other cable containment systems. They prevent premature cable collapse during heat exposure, supporting safer electrical installations and compliance with current wiring regulations.

These galvanised steel cable cleats suit cable diameters from 12.6mm to 45.7mm. The fire-rated metal design provides a stronger, heat-resistant alternative to plastic cable clips where cable support must remain secure during a fire.

Suitable for vertical and horizontal cable runs, these fire-safe cable supports can be used in commercial buildings, industrial sites, plant rooms, control panels, distribution boards, public access areas and escape routes.

Supplied in a pack of 10, the cleats are suitable for electrical contractors, M&E installers, panel builders and maintenance teams working on fire-safe cable containment.
