What are Firefly™ Adjustable Metal Cable Cleats?

Firefly™ adjustable Metal cable cleats are fire resistant metal cable supports designed to secure electrical cables where strength, stability and installation flexibility are required. A cable cleat is a mechanical fixing used to hold cables in position, helping prevent movement, sagging or loss of support in fixed wiring systems.

These adjustable cleats are suitable for a range of cable diameters and are available in different sizes to support common electrical installation requirements. Each cleat has a fixing hole for use with suitable masonry screws selected according to the installation substrate. Masonry screws must be used to comply with BS 7671.

The adjustable design allows one cleat style to accommodate a defined cable diameter range, helping installers reduce part variation on site. The metal construction supports fire resistant cable management applications where plastic fixings may not provide suitable cable retention under fire conditions.
