What are Firefly™ Masonry Screws and Washers used for?
They are used for fixing Firefly™ clips, trunking, timber track and general components into concrete and masonry.
Firefly™ Masonry Screws and Washers are designed for fixing Fireflyâ„¢ clips to trunking, timber track and general components into concrete and masonry. They are suitable for use with other Firefly™ components supplied by WDS, helping installers specify compatible fixings for cable management, electrical containment and surface-mounted trunking systems.
Manufactured from AISI C1022 carbon steel, these 4.7 mm x 37 mm screws feature a countersunk head for a flush fixing and a Phillips 2 drive for installation with standard tooling. The nail point supports accurate positioning, while the 500-hour Evoshield® coating provides surface protection for suitable installation environments.
The screws are suitable for fixture thicknesses from 5.0 mm to 20.0 mm. Installation requires a 4.35 mm pilot hole, a minimum drill depth of 35.0 mm and a minimum embedment depth of 25.0 mm. This makes them suitable for fixing Firefly™ clips and associated cable support components into concrete, blockwork and masonry substrates.
Typical applications include industrial cable management, commercial electrical installations, building services, residential wiring, data cabling, surface trunking and fire safety cable support systems.
Also known as masonry fixing screws, concrete screws, trunking fixing screws, cable clip screws, countersunk masonry screws and Firefly™ clip fixings.
