What are Firefly™ Nail Clips for Round Cable?

Firefly™ Nail Clips are all-metal cable clips designed for securing and routing low and medium voltage cables. They support compliant cable installation where cable retention is required under the BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, helping reduce the risk of premature cable collapse in the event of fire.

The range includes round red nail clips are also available for 8 mm and 9 mm cable, making them suitable for FP200 cable and similar round fire-resistant cable installations.

Each clip is supplied with a retained masonry nail for quick fitting into suitable substrates. The retained nail helps simplify installation by keeping the fixing and clip together, reducing handling time on site. The flush, compact design supports neat cable runs in commercial, industrial and residential electrical installations.

Typical applications include electrical containment, fire alarm cabling, emergency lighting circuits, surface wiring, refurbishment work, building services and cable support in escape routes or other areas where secure cable fixing is required.
