What Are Stainless Steel Barrel Bolt?

This stainless steel barrel bolt complements the established WDS hardware and marine fittings range, offering a practical, durable and easily recognised fastening product for customers needing a simple method of securing doors, hatches, windows, cabinets, gates and inspection covers.

Manufactured from A4 grade stainless steel, also known as AISI 316 marine grade stainless steel, the barrel bolt provides good corrosion resistance for outdoor, wet and marine environments. The polished finish gives a clean appearance, while the smooth sliding bolt action supports reliable everyday use where panels or openings need to be retained in the closed position.

Fixing screws are not supplied, allowing the installer to select suitable screws for the mounting surface, material thickness and application. This provides flexibility when fitting to timber, metal, composite, GRP or other suitable substrates.
