What Are Aluminium Grippers?

These Aluminium Grippers are a high-quality clamping solution ideal for industrial, mechanical and workshop applications that require reliable hand tightening with gentle yet secure surface contact.

The hand knob is made from lightweight aluminium with a black powder-coated finish, offering a strong yet low-weight construction that resists corrosion and wear. The lobed shape provides a comfortable, ergonomic grip for hand operation.

Paired with this knob is a threaded steel clamping pad fitted with a urethane gripper. The clamping pad body is made from hardened alloy steel with a black oxide finish, providing excellent strength and resistance to wear. The urethane-bonded gripper surface (durometer rating 60) is bonded to a 300-series stainless steel ball and held in place with a Viton O-ring that seals out contaminants and ensures smooth swivel movement. The urethane gripper offers increased friction and surface protection, making it ideal for clamping against finished or delicate surfaces without marking.
