How To Download CAD Models

Free Of Charge CAD Downloads

WDS provides 3D/2D models free of charge and available for download in various popular formats and versions. You must be registered and logged in to the WDS website in order to download 3D/2D models, as the models are intellectual property requiring traceability as to where they are used. You may be contacted by our sales/technical team should there be an issue with the model.

Both the Customer and Company accounts will allow you to download 3D/2D models of our products. If you are part of a bigger organisation where a colleague may be responsible for purchasing parts, you may wish to consider using a customer registration. If required, your account can be associated with a company account at a later date.

How To Download 3D Models - step by step guide

You must be registered and logged in to download models from the WDS website. 

Once you are logged in to the website there are two options where you can download a model.

A. From the group product page:

1. First select the part number you require by using the table and line drawing combination.

2. Just below the table there is a drop-down menu named ‘Cad content’

3. Select the SKU (Part number) from the drop-down menu.

4. Select the CAD format.

5. Select the CAD version.

6. Click the ‘Download’ button.

B. From the SKU (Product) page:

1. On the product page there are two options in the ‘cad content’ menu.

2. Select the CAD format.

3. Select the CAD version.

4. Click the ‘Download’ button.
