What is an External Stainless Steel Hinge?

An external hinge is a surface-mounted component used to connect a door or panel to a fixed frame, allowing controlled rotation about a hinge pin. Fitted to the outside faces of the door and enclosure, it avoids recessed cut-outs and supports simple installation, alignment and maintenance.

Manufactured from stainless steel grade 316, the hinge is suitable for outdoor, wash-down and marine applications, including use on boats. In service, it offers corrosion resistance and durability in environments exposed to moisture, salt and frequent cleaning.
