Firefly™ Buckle Clip for Fire Cables

The Firefly™ Buckle Clip is a red coated mild steel cable clip designed for securing fire cables and similar cable runs where reliable mechanical support is required. Also known as a fire cable clip, metal fire clip, buckle cable clip or fire alarm cable fixing, it is suitable for cable diameters from 8.0 mm to 8.5 mm.

The clip has a 5 mm fixing hole and can be installed using either a gas nail gun or a standard masonry screw fixing, depending on the substrate and site preference. This supports fast installation on commercial, industrial and residential projects, with installation times stated as up to 10 times quicker than conventional cable clipping methods.

The formed buckle design is intended to hold one or two cables securely, making it suitable for fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, safety circuits, public buildings, plant rooms, service areas and escape routes. The metal construction supports cable retention where fire-resistant cable management is required.

This Firefly™ clip meets the cable support requirements of BS 5839-1:2017, the British Standard covering fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings.

Suitable for electrical contractors, fire system installers and building services engineers, this clip provides a fast-fit fixing option for compliant fire cable support.
