What are T-Grips with Internal Thread and Hygienic USIT® Washers?

T-Grips with Internal Thread are high-integrity stainless steel handles engineered for maximum leverage during manual tightening, release, and positioning adjustments. Designed with a female-threaded insert, this grip mounts directly onto existing threaded machine studs.

The distinct T-shape provides significantly greater hand leverage than standard round or wing knobs, making it the ideal choice for applications requiring firm manual clamping or controlled torque release. Featuring a specialized collar and shaft geometry, it is engineered to seat perfectly against compatible Hygienic USIT® Seal and Shim Washers (WDS 7658 and WDS 7655 series). When tightened, the assembly compresses the elastomer ring to form a cavity-free, liquid-tight seal that isolates the thread entry and eliminates bacterial growth zones on washdown machinery.
