Wing Nuts with Hygienic USIT® Washers are complete, pre-configured sanitary fastening assemblies designed for tool-free manual tightening, rapid release, and adjustment on processing machinery. Supplied as an all-in-one system, this hand nut comes bundled with a dedicated Hygienic USIT® seal and matching stainless steel shim washer to create an immediate, liquid-tight installation.

The ergonomic wing shape allows operators to tighten or loosen the fixing entirely by hand—completely eliminating the need for spanners or wrenches. When tightened, the specialised shaft design compresses the USIT® elastomer ring flush against the mounting surface, creating an almost cavity-free connection that seals out moisture, eliminates bacterial growth zones, and helps processing equipment comply with strict sanitary design principles.
