These Polished wing screws come with a built-in shim washer and a choice of black, white, or high-performance blue sealing rings. The wide wings let you hand-tighten bolts securely, while the heavy-duty seal blocks out washdown sprays completely. They are perfect for mounting gear covers on meat processing machinery, industrial juice blenders, and pharmaceutical conveyor lines.

Supplied as an all-in-one system, this hand screw comes bundled with a dedicated Hygienic USIT® seal and matching stainless steel shim washer to create an immediate, liquid-tight installation.

The ergonomic wing shape allows operators to open, remove, or re-tighten connections entirely by hand—completely eliminating the need for spanners or wrenches. When tightened, the specialised under-head shaft design compresses the USIT® elastomer ring flush against the mounting surface, creating an almost cavity-free connection that seals out moisture, eliminates bacterial growth zones, and helps processing equipment comply with strict sanitary design principles.
