Threaded Shaft Collars

Threaded shaft collars are mechanical components used to position and secure components on a threaded shaft. They feature an internally threaded bore that allows them to be screwed directly onto a threaded shaft, which provides a more uniform distribution of clamping forces and precise positioning compared to set screw or one-piece clamping collars. These collars can be easily adjusted and repositioned along the threaded rod without damaging the surface of the shaft. Threaded shaft collars are commonly used in applications where fine adjustments or incremental positioning of components is required, such as in lead screws, actuators, and valve controls within industries like manufacturing, automation, and aerospace. They are also useful in applications where a component needs to be frequently repositioned or when the shaft material is softer and more prone to damage.
