Spring Plungers and Ball Plungers
Spring plungers are locating products that utilise either a ball or pin to accurately locate a pre defined hole in a work piece. These are available in metric (M3 to M20) and imperial (inch) sizes.
WDS offers two types of plunger, Pin Plungers give the user precise locating using an extended pin available in either hardened steel, nylon or plastic. The pin can retract into the threaded body and will locate the hole when the workpiece is in place.
WDS Ball Spring Plungers operate in a similar manner to the pin counter part, however the ball movement allows for a heavier duty workload. For more specialist applications consider stainless steel spring plungers.
