Lift Off Hinges

A lift off hinge is a type of hinge that allows a door or panel to be easily lifted off and removed from its frame or mounting. Unlike traditional hinges that are permanently attached to the door and frame, lift off hinges are designed to allow for easy removal of the door or panel, without the need for tools or special equipment.

Lift off hinges typically consist of two parts: a hinge leaf or plate that is mounted to the door or panel, and a hinge leaf or plate that is mounted to the frame or mounting surface. The two parts are connected by a pin or rod that can be easily removed, allowing the door or panel to be lifted off and removed.

One of the main advantages of lift off hinges is their versatility. They are commonly used in applications where regular access or removal of the door or panel is required, such as in electrical or mechanical cabinets, equipment enclosures, or industrial machinery. They also provide a convenient solution for applications where space is limited, as they allow doors and panels to be easily removed and stored when not in use.
