What are R Clips in 316 Stainless Steel?

Stainless steel 316 R clips are corrosion-resistant retaining fasteners used to secure clevis pins, shafts, axles, and pivot pins in mechanical assemblies. The clip is inserted through a cross-drilled hole in a shaft or pin; the curved spring section grips the outside diameter to prevent the retained component from moving axially during operation. The design allows quick installation and removal without tools, making it suitable for assemblies that require regular maintenance or adjustment.
