What Are Thermoplastic Grippers?

These Thermoplastic Grippers are a corrosion‑resistant, ergonomic clamping solution designed for industrial, mechanical and workshop environments.

The scallop hand knob features a multi‑lobed thermoplastic body with a 303 stainless steel insert, offering excellent resistance to corrosion ideal for use in environments exposed to moisture, cleaning agents or outdoor conditions such as food processing or laboratory settings. The scallop shape provides an ergonomic grip that improves manual torque for tightening and adjustment tasks. Additionally, the removable top cap allows the knob to convert from a closed/blind design to a through‑knob, increasing installation flexibility.

Threaded into the knob is a stainless steel 304 screw with a brass tip, combining high corrosion resistance with a soft, brass contact point that helps protect delicate or finished surfaces from marking during clamping. The stainless steel body ensures strength and durability in demanding applications.
