What Are Stainless Steel Grippers?

These Thermoplastic Grippers are a versatile and ergonomic clamping and positioning solution ideal for industrial, workshop, and mechanical applications where secure fastening and gentle workpiece contact are required.

The scallop-style hand knob is made from black thermoplastic with a steel bush insert, giving it a lightweight yet durable construction that resists wear and helps achieve higher torque during tightening. Its multiple lobes improve grip and hand-held turning, making it suitable for repetitive adjustments and clamping tasks. The top cap of the knob can often be removed to convert the part into a through-knob configuration if needed, increasing its flexibility in different assembly scenarios.

Threaded into the knob is a steel thrust screw with a Nylon ball end, a precision positioning element designed to deliver smooth, non-markin contact with surfaces. The screw body is made from high-strength carbon steel (Grade 10.9) and finished with a corrosion-resistant coating, ensuring durability under load.
