What is a locking screw snap hook with eye?

A locking screw snap hook with eye, also known as a locking carabiner, screw gate carbine hook, locking snap clip or security snap hook, is a quick-connect fastener designed for applications where additional gate retention is required. It combines a spring gate with a threaded locking sleeve that closes over the opening to help prevent unintentional release.

Manufactured in 316 stainless steel, this version is suited to marine hardware, canopy systems, utility assemblies, wire rope fittings, outdoor equipment and industrial retention points where both corrosion resistance and a more secure closure are needed. The fixed eye supports stable connection to rope, cable or chain, while the screw locking feature makes it more suitable for installations exposed to movement or vibration.
