What are spherical seating nuts?

The spherical underside of these nuts is WDS components design. Having a sphere on the underside instead of a cone shape, provides more surface area contact as well as offering more manoeuvrability.

This nut has no flange at the bottom, for the flanged version see other WDS 407 nuts. The thread on this nut is ISO metric coarse pitch to suit most standard machine components.
