What are Surface Mount Detent Hinge – Polyamide?

This model of hinge from WDS is designed to hold panels or aluminium profiles together, with cover caps to provide a secure closure as well as providing a clean look. The leaf are made of a plastic PA material, reinforced with glass fibre, while the bolt is made of stainless steel A2. The cover caps are also made of a complementary black plastic PA material, reinforced with glass fibre. The main feature of this hinge is that it can be used to hold a door open at an angle of 85° or 175°, or to keep it securely closed. The purpose is to enhance stability and controlled positioning for improved user experience.
