These stainless steel T-grips feature an internal thread and a special shape that gives you extra hand leverage for locking parts tightly. When paired with a USIT seal, they form a liquid-tight barrier that stops bacteria from growing in hidden gaps.

What are Hygienic 316 Stainless Steel T-Grips with External Thread and USIT® Seal?

Hygienic 316 Stainless Steel T-Grips with External Thread and USIT® Seals are complete, high-integrity sanitary fastening assemblies engineered for heavy-duty manual tightening, clamping, and line adjustments. Supplied as an all-in-one pre-configured system, this male-threaded hand knob comes bundled with a genuine Hygienic USIT® seal to screw directly into tapped equipment panels, machinery guards, or processing mounts.

The ergonomic T-shape provides significantly greater hand leverage than a standard round knob, making it ideal for firm tightening and controlled manual release without tools. The specialized under-head collar and shaft geometry are engineered to seat perfectly against the USIT® elastomer ring. When tightened, the assembly compresses the seal flush against the mounting surface to form a cavity-free, liquid-tight connection. This blocks moisture and process fluids, entirely eliminating unexposed dead spaces where bacteria or product residue could otherwise accumulate.
