A hinge spacer or hinge shim is a rectangular plate of stainless steel used to allow for offsets in door panels. Spacers are supplied in two thicknesses, 1 and 1.5 mm, and in 4 different lengths to suit a variety of standard WDS hinges.
Hinge spacers are commonly used in applications where the door frame is not flush or where adjustments are needed to ensure the proper alignment and function of the door.
WDS supply spacers in 1 mm & 1.5 mm, however these can be stacked to give more adjustment. For example, a 1 mm and a 1.5 mm plate can be used to give a 2.5 mm offset.
