A spoked handwheel is a mechanical device consisting of a circular wheel with radiating spokes extending outward from its centre. Mounting Hole Type

The bore in the centre of these WDS handwheels is machined to an H7 fit tolerance, with a precision broached keyway added with a JS9 width tolerance and a length tolerance of +0.2mm. Having a keyway instead of a plain bore offers the advantage of securely transmitting torque and preventing rotational slippage when connected to a shaft, ensuring a reliable and stable connection. WDS also supplies a range of parallel and Woodruff shaft keys designed to fit this keyway, available under part numbers WDS 682 and WDS 683.
