What is a crank handle and what are they used for?
A crank handle is a mechanical tool equipped with a lever attached to a rotating shaft, enabling manual force application for tasks like adjusting equipment, controlling valves, or operating manual winches and lifts. It provides necessary leverage and control, allowing for precise adjustments or specific actions to be performed manually.
Design Features
This crank handle is precision cast from 316 Stainless Steel, has a shotblased finish with a machine bore top and bottom of the mounting boss and the machine surface for the mounting grip. A 120 degree dimple is present half way up the handle boss - this is to aid the user in drilling a hole for a pin or set screw if desired. The supplied handle is a fixed Bakelite grip for precision adjustment.
