These rubber dust caps are made of neoprene making them temperature resistant up to 110 degrees. The dust caps or seal caps as they are also known as are used to prevent any damage to the inside of the angle joint which is often caused by dust lubricant dirt and debris.
The dust caps sit between the seat and ball stud of the angle joint and cover any potential point of entry for dust and debris. These neoprene dust caps are available as a part of steel or stainless steel angle joint kits and as individual parts.
