Its self-tapping design features a cutting slot, enabling the insert to form its own threads within a pre-drilled hole, thereby eliminating the need for pre-tapping. This ensures a secure and firm anchoring in the host material. The use of 303-grade stainless steel offers excellent machinability and moderate corrosion resistance, making it suitable for applications in demanding environments.
