By lightly pressing a standard metric nut (D) or hexagon headed screw (both not supplied) into the moulded hexagonal recess in the base of the knob, a variety of female hand knobs or male hand screws can be created.The cap snaps into place on the base of the knob and the integral moulded tube retains the nut or screw in position.
