These thick end eyelets (straight configuration) are composed of Zinc Plated Steel, to protect against corrosion and rust. They are suitable for use in heavy duty applications, and can be screwed onto the ends of gas struts in automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery or furniture applications.
They can also be used as a swing nut in conjunction with a shoulder bolt to create a bearing pin arrangement.
