Quick Action Nuts
Quick action nuts are slide on hex nuts which can be put onto a male threaded screw and fastened at any point, rather than threading the nut all the way down the screw. These time-saving quick action nuts offer a rapid solution for applications where low clamping pressure is sufficient. WDS offer two main types of quick acting nuts, including knurled thumb nuts with complete and half threaded holes. The slanted internal thread allows the user to tilt the nut to slide onto the screw, and then straighten the nut which secures it to the thread. For the quick acting hex nuts the user simply needs to turn half the body of the nut the user can lock the nut into place.
