What is an adjustable carbide tipped gripper?

An adjustable carbide-tipped gripper is essentially a grub screw with a gripper on one end, designed for clamping. It features a carbide tip known for its durability and grip. This gripper can be finely adjusted with the rear hexagon slot, preventing slippage, making it valuable in applications such as for jig and fixtures, assembly lines, and material handling.

Design Features>
The threaded body permits the user to adjust the gripper's position, with the internal hex allowing for rear adjustments. A serrated carbide tip ensures a strong grip and durability. The body is constructed from alloy steel, hardened to Rc 43/46 with a chemically blacked finish. The serrated carbide pad is brazed onto a pocket in the head for secure placement. The body is threaded with an ISO standard metric coarse pitch. These grippers come with 3 styles of tooth pattern: 4 point, fine and extra fine - the dimensions of which can be found in the product drawing.
