Carabiner lanyards: Stainless steel carabiner and lanyard
WDS Components offer an extensive range of lanyards and retainers within its wide selection of location pins and positioning parts. The latest addition are lanyards with carabiner clips for faster and safer operation. These kits provide a secure linkage similar to our hand knobs with loss protection range, removing the potential of dropping items in areas with an increased safety risk such as industrial fans, or above environments whereby retrieval would be time consuming or a struggle, in essence, deep, under heavy machines or awkwardly between machinery.
The carabiner includes a hook with a sprung snap-lock feature and is permanently fixed to a lanyard via a safety ring (this is designed so tools or equipment can be connected easily with a fastener or keyring). The lanyard is available in a clear or black nylon jacket to remove abrasion with length options ranging from 100-508mm.
Both the carabiner and lanyard are made from 304 stainless steel for durability and longevity. This grade of stainless steel is ideal for use in the marine industry because of its corrosion resistance as well as other properties. As the carabiner and lanyard kits are designed for various safety elements, they can also be used to remove the risk of an operator becoming separated from machinery such as connecting a sailor of a boat or jet ski to a skill switch.
Safety: these lanyards add an extra level of safety using a carabiner clip. Simply fasten your application with the lanyard and connect it using the carabiner hook.
Stainless steel: 303/304 stainless steel lanyards and 304 stainless steel carabiners and keyrings provide long lasting durability. Also available with clear or black nylon sleeves.
