What Are Cast Iron Grippers?

These Cast Iron Grippers are a heavy-duty clamping solution engineered for industrial, machining, fixture and tooling applications.

The hand knob is constructed from cast iron with a black powder-coated finish, offering excellent strength, durability and resistance to wear in demanding working conditions. Its ergonomic design provides a comfortable and secure grip for easy hand-tightening, making it ideal for frequent use on machinery, fixtures, jigs and adjustable assemblies where reliable manual control is needed.

Paired with the hand knob is an adjustable carbide tipped gripper, manufactured from hardened alloy steel with a corrosion-resistant finish for long service life. This gripper features a threaded body that can be finely adjusted to the desired position, and its carbide tipped gripping surface delivers exceptional wear resistance and traction. Available with a range of tooth patterns including extra-fine, fine and 4-point options. The carbide tipped gripper excels at biting into workpiece surfaces to provide secure, non-slip engagement even under heavy loads.
