What are removable location pins?

A removable location pin is a precision component consisting of a silver steel shank with a steel head. These pins are employed in complex modular jigs to precisely position different components. Working alongside standard liner bushes within the jigs, they enable rapid and accurate alignment for connecting and separating jig parts at predetermined points.

This pin features a hole in the head - this can be used to add a keyring, a long bar or another fixing method of the users choice. The shank is manufactured from silver steel and is ground to a tolerance of -0.0001"/-0.0004" from nominal. It also has a groove to suit the WDS 510 retention clip.
