Swing Bolts
Swing bolts are specialised fasteners that feature a hinged or "swing" segment or eye at one end and a threaded section at the other. This unique design allows for easier alignment in slots or holes, especially in situations where precise alignment is difficult. Once the hinged segment is set in place, it can be swung into a locked position, with the threaded end then being secured. They are commonly used in applications like machine guarding, fixtures, access gates and assemblies where frequent disassembly and reassembly are required.
These threaded eye bolts have either a metric or inch eye at the top of the bolt and are manufactured from high tensile steel, 303 stainless steel or 316 stainless steel.
