WDS New Innovative Captive Fasteners
What are Captive Fasteners?
WDS’s newest range of screws are an alternative to the ordinary cap screw that offer a “captive” functionality. In the place of a standard fully threaded fastener, the captive fastener screws into a threaded hole, and the plain shank section means that the screw can then go loose. A special installation of this screw means that it cannot be removed as easily. These handy captive screws can be used on panels and enclosures, and for other applications such as:
- Construction
- Industrial Equipment
- Electronics
- Fabrication
