What can aluminium handwheels be used on?
The potential uses of handwheels are endless as they are components that are extremely versatile given their simple design and structure. Our new range of handwheels can be utilised on CNC machines, milling machines, vertical and horizontal machines and even gantry machines. Not only are these handwheels ideal for machining, but they are also great for play equipment, exhibitions, food manufacturing, and medical fields. Of course, handwheels are also perfect for valves and regulators, particularly in the oil, water and gas industries.

Types of Handwheels and Grips available
The new range extension includes two types of handwheels, both available with either a tapped hole on the rim or a fixed grip or a revolving grip for increased variety of options.
- Tapped dish handwheels
- Dish handwheels with fixed grips
- Dish handwheels with revolving grips
- Tapped two spoke handwheels
- Two spoke handwheels with fixed grips
- Two spoke handwheels with revolving grips
Each type of handwheel has also been customised with either a round hole, keywayed bore or square bore in the centre of the wheel.
Grip Materials
With over 45 new handwheel variations now available, the new variations include different grip materials. The materials included in this range have been engineered and selected to suit almost every use for handwheels. The grip materials available include:
- Aluminium – Lightweight and corrosion resistant.
- Bakelite – Highly resistant to electricity, heat and chemicals. Nice finish and excellent resistance to solvents.
- Polyamide – High performance thermoplastic, cost effective. High abrasion and wear resistance.
