This extension to the WDS range aims at providing security, safety and precision to your workstations, the keyway shaft collars are available as solid shaft collars, single-split collars or double -split collars to cover every possibly application. Each Keyway is manufactured to precise tight tolerances offering unmatched grip and support to your bearings, gears, sprockets and many more applications with their slick and user-friendly locking feature.
Keywayed Shaft Collars - WDS offer 3 new Keywayed Shaft Collars types available in 41 sizes.
The Keyway provides a secure clamp and lock, produced at standard keyway sizes to ensure you can easily adapt your kit to work in conjunction with your new tools. This collar design comes with a Key groove or slit broached in to the body and are used on a keyed shaft. They are designed to hold motor components, gear assemblies, sprockets, bearings and other parts in place whilst sometimes facilitating their proper movements.
Keyed shaft collars are regularly used in positive drive applications to avoid slippage on the shaft, they are designed to allow the mounting of other components allowing them to rotate with the collar, and with the introduction of the keyway you are able to control and restrict movement of the assembly.
