Ball transfer units for automation and conveyors
These roller ball transfer units work in an omnidirectional manor allowing the load bearing transfer of goods and packages across an assembly line, processing surface or table. Commonly used on conveyors the unit consists of a spherical ball mounted on a spring body of ball bearings in a restrictive housing.
Used in a conveyor unit, ball transfer units can be positioned in liner rows over a surface of a transfer table. Ideal for manufacturing, warehouse package handling and product processing, the range includes light duty, medium duty and spring heavy duty ball transfer units for excessively heavy loads. Often called BTU's in the engineering sector.
